Pastor Transition Takes Place Sunday, May 23
The transition of our pastors to their new roles will be formally recognized on Sunday, May 23 during the 10:30 a.m. service with the Rite of Installation.
Pastors on the Radio
Pastor Bagnall will participate as part of a pastor's panel on the radio program "Our World-His View" on Saturday, May 22. The show, hosted by Pastor Brad Smith of St. John Fraser, is sponsored by the Detroit area Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregations and airs every Saturday at 9 a.m. on AM 1500. Both of St. Luke's pastors have participated on the program in the past, and the first hour of the Festival of Faith, which was held at St. Luke earlier this year, was broadcast on "Our World-His View." St. Luke Collecting Diapers
St. Luke is holding a diaper drive for Compassion Pregnancy. The drive started Mother's Day and runs through Father's Day, June 20, 2010. Diapers, especially sizes 2, 4, 5 and 6, are very important to the work done at Compassion Pregnancy. Diapers can be placed in the play pen located under the coat rack in the church hallway.

Youth Group Raises Money for Relay for Life
